just got Smokey’s remains back from the taxidermist

a year out I still can’t believe she’s gone. Smokey was and is my soul mate
there are no words for this, except to say I hope we meet again.

god I missed my cat so much????

I just…I didn’t realize how much it was affecting me, being away from her while I was at college. but now that I’m not living in a dorm and I get to be with her again I’m just constantly amazed by how good she is for me and how often I find myself smiling at her

I’m just really glad to have her back ☺️

i got pretty high last night and i got home and pet my cat and started crying because i love her so much and i don’t think i’ll ever have another relationship with an animal as fulfilling and loving as this one.

im sober now and im not crying but Smokey is in my lap and i still feel the same way tbh she’s just so amazing and special to me she’s my soul animal
