i miss 2012 when we actually had fun in the homestuck fandom and no one was bitching about shit that didnt actually matter

i didnt, actually.
i didnt feel like answering on this post, but yes of
course i remember some of the drama in 2012 homestuck but at least the
bitching was significantly less and easier to ignore (and also mostly
entertaining) than the bitching people do now in the fandom. i see more
discourse now than i ever did in fucking 2012. i feel like its also
because so many people left the fandom, artists, writers, etc, so i just see less art
and more of people just. fighting and starting shit.

there was so much content being created in 2012 and it was actually really fun being into homestuck.

Yeah, the bitching and infighting was there but it was. Contained I guess? And we called it wank instead of discourse, and most people just gawked at it for entertainment rather than engaging.

Now we got a bunch of bloggers that do nothing but “hot takes” most of which are thinly veiled recycled radfem garbage, and go picking fights with other blogs for funzies. It’s exhausting.
