Total kindness

How is this kindness. Kindness would be the damned company paying the workers a wage that allowed them to purchase clothes for their kids. This is just some faux compassionate demonstration to hide the crimes of capitalism.

You are aware that this isn’t about capitalism or the evils of corporations or whatever. First of all, not just the families of the workers of Kansas Wheat where using these flour bags, it was people all over the nation, because, secondly, it was the Great Depression. Most people in the US, and the entire world could barely afford to feed their families or too find work, and buying new clothes wasn’t a huge priority, or even a possibility for a lot of families. And after 1939, World War Two broke out, imposing more rations and encouraging more parents to makes dresses and shirts for their children out of any spare fabric.

This is a story of a company getting by just like everyone else, (remember, dust bowl,) and the people who run it doing a simple act of kindness simply because they could. It’s people being kind. Stop trying to make it evil.
