millennials don’t have “abstract” “neo-dadaist” humor and the internet isn’t a unique space for comedy. jokes are jokes. jokes are fucking jokes. jokes are goddamn motherfucking jokes. they’re just jokes. they’re just goddamn jokes. they’re just fucking goddamn jokes for christ’s sake. jokes? that’s what they are. they’re jokes. they’re just fucking jokes.
This is a just another way of saying “I don’t want anyone to think critically or constructively about social trends and understand how they both reflect and shape our world.” It’s nothing but bog-standard anti-intellectualism and I’m genuinely disappointed this post has picked up notes.
