So has it not occurred to the staff that in introducing Glass-Canon-Breaking monsters to places like the Kelp Beds, what they’re actually working towards (and don’t think for a second Mire isn’t next) is breaking the Exalt Leveling system? And if you break that, you start a chain reaction where people exalt less, so they buy less, so there’s less money movement and more superfluous dragons, and… this isn’t a good plan just because you’re sulky about everyone using one battle configuration.
I actually strongly supported adding mini-boss monsters to more Coli levels, but I meant Yeti-types, not Stone Borers for Every Venue, Hurrah! They had to break point distribution rules to even make these. It’s like the “balancing” done by upping dodge rates: it doesn’t work, it just makes things annoying by giving the monsters the ability to break the rules.
the way to grind now is another team, get yourself a healer or something. It isn’t killer to deviate and actually be flexible.
The OP seems to be referring to the exalt leveling system. Not the grinding system. yeah having a healer when you’re grinding isn’t too much of a change but the problem is that when exalt leveling you’re trying to do it as fast as possible because you’re trying to send as many high level dragons to the deities as possible. Healer/glasscannon/exalt fodder is a much slower system than glasscannon/glasscannon/fodder. Not to mention you might not be able to survive long enough to get enough breath to get eliminate. Most of the healers have points in INT, which means that eliminate doesn’t work for it and there is no neutral magic attack which makes the whole thing inefficient. We’re getting kicked back to the mire which sucks because part of the reason I started leveling exalt fodder in the kelp beds was because mire was getting boring/repetitive and the kelp beds was a faster way to level. Now I’m afraid that they might add a boss monster to the mire too and then how will we be able to profit exalt or level up our adults when our flights are pushing for dom efficiently.
you make a good point, thank you for explaining it better to me.
No problem.
