If a single teacher can’t teach all the subjects
Then how do they expect a single student to learn all the subjects fuck

This may be the smartest post on tumblr.

You know what? No. Fucking no. This is the most ignorant shit i’ve ever heard in my life.

A single teacher goes to college to learn how to teach students, as well as a focused curriculum. An English teacher studies english, a Math teacher studies math and so on and so forth. They focus so much on their subject to the point where they’re almost experts in the matter. 

A student however is NOT expected to be experts in EVERY subject. School teaches you tidbits of information in each subject to get you interested (or not interested in some cases), it is nowhere near the level of dedication or focus as what a teacher goes through, 

On another note, it is INCREDIBLY impractical for a teacher to know even a little bit about every single subject. I take German as a language class. My German teacher speaks fluent german and probably knows over 50,000 more words than I do in said language. So what if, in that same time span my teacher also taught me a little bit about Manifest Destiny, or what the SI unit for mass is? I would be getting teeny bits of information that i would NEVER retain. There are teachers that know about “all the subjects” as you put it. Wanna know what they’re called? Fucking elementary school teachers. And do you remember anything from then. No. You don’t. 

Teachers teach you about subjects individually so that you can absorb information better. They can give you more detailed answers if you have a question. 

As to why you need to learn about every subject: each subject in school bounces off of one another. In my American Literature class, we talked about Huck Finn almost eating bread with quicksilver in it. Quicksilver is fucking Mercury. Wanna know where I learned about Mercury? Chemistry class. In Chemistry class I learned that the radioactive elements are primarily manmade and used in weapons. Weapons I learned about in my US History class. In US History I learned about the vices and virtues of presidents. Wanna know where i also learned about vices? American Literature.

You learn about every subject in school so you’re not an ignorant, uncultured swine. You learn about every subject because most of the time the information is relevant to you. You learn about every subject in school so you can make informative decisions in life instead of going with the fucking flow on a stupid blogging site.
