Help Save 100s of Threatened Desert Tortoises

Hey guys, some of you may have read the article I posted yesterday about the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s decision to kill 100s of threatened Desert Tortoises (Gopherus agassizii) that are currently in its care at the Desert Tortoise Conservation Center in Nevada. The Center no longer has the funds to continue caring for these animals, so… they’re going to slaughter them. (read more: here and here)

I can’t… I don’t even… We need to stop this from happening.
