Luna by Julie Anne Peters and Annabel by Kathleen Winter

Luna is the story of a MTF transsexual as told by the point of view of his sister. The story talks about his sisters life and how she has had to accommodate for her brothers secret, as well as how it has affected them and thier relationships with their family, outsiders, and each other as they aged. although the story takes place when both are teenagers there are flashbacks to when they were younger. I think that it was very well written and i really enjoyed it!
Annabel is the story of a hermaphrodite brought up in Labrador Canada. the POV shifts throughout the story and is sometimes from their mother’s POV and later from their own. This story progresses in chronological order from the main characters birth all the way to when they are college aged. The story deals with the issues that arise when one does not fit into the gender binary and the conflicts that occur with the main character’s own self, the division that arise between them and their father, their father and mother, and society at large. It is a GREAT book and has some truly breath heartbreaking scenes
This book has been underlined by me in some places. I hope you are ok with that.
