The fact that most Americans don’t realise the wonders of a duvet.

 

Americans don’t have duvets…?

They do.

But they’re not as common.

I just own a bed…its kinda nice.. not a duvet though…cause I don’t know what that is.

But i think we call them comforters in the south…not a duvet.

I call it comforter too. 

we call them comforters u in jersey too, and i usually sleep with two on my bed

comforters and duvets are actually different though…

(i have a duvet at my familys house, and its lovely)

What do people have instead of a duvet?! DDDD:

They have thin sheets and then a comforter over the top or somethin’. There were discussions of this when I lived with Americans XD Japanese landlord didn’t know what the fuck we were on about.

i just google imaged comforter and duvet and

the same pictures came up?

so im pretty sure its the same thing????

its like a quilt or a blanket type thing except with stuffing in the middle right?

or am i thinking of the wrong thing?

P.s. according to wikipedia “Duvets are a form of comforter, traditionally filled with feathers.”
